The opening parade
(those you see behind the pretty girl are Robin Hood's "merry men")
Robin Hood won the jousting tournament - and the hearts of many of the ladies in the audience
A segment of the Maypole dance (sorry about the poor image quality):
We had turkey legs for lunch! Tried to convince my husband to share some mead, but he refused because he was still recovering from the sugar-shock he got from the cheesecake on a stick and we still had to drive home :-)

I'm reminded of Reno 911, but those people looked more attractive. Glad you had a good time! We have one by Los Angeles that I used to go to. I had a family friend that used to spend the night there...I got to hear about some crazy parties.
So did you dress up? Because if you did, you should totally post a picture!
LOL Kelly - No, I did not dress up. Not unless you count dark wash jeans and flats as "dressing up" ;-) But I tell you, after seeing Robin Hood win the jousting tournament I was totally ready to find some Lady Marian garb to throw on! The man was fiiine.
How fun! I've always wanted to go to a Renaissance Fair!
I really like the HOT Pirate! Sounds like a great day!
Ooo, I so wish I could have gone! How fun! And that is one sexy pirate.
